Contestants will compete in 3 equal categories, which are: Personal Interview, Personal Sense of Style (Active Wear) and Evening Wear. The Judges will join us from outside the state who will include some of pageantry’s most successful people.
If chosen Queen, you will have the thrill of reigning over the 44th Annual West Virginia Three Rivers Festival and win a prize package valued over $5000 including a $500 Cash Prize and the opportunity to compete in the 2023 West Virginia Association of Fairs & Festivals Pageant and the 2023 Miss West Virginia USA® Pageant. During your reign you will make appearances throughout the Mountain State along side your sister queens.
If you are chosen as the Teen Queen, you will participate in the 44th Annual West Virginia Three Rivers Festival May 25-27th in Fairmont, WV while making appearances throughout the state, win a fantastic prize package valued over $4000, including a $250 cash prize and the opportunity to compete in the 2023 Miss West Virginia Teen USA® Pageant!
*must be a resident of West Virginia
**Teen Contestants must be at least 14 and under 19 years of age January 1st 2023 in the year they hope to compete in the Miss Teen USA pageant.
***Queen Contestants must be at least 18 and under 28 years of age before January 1st 2023 in the year they hope to compete in the Miss USA pageant.
****WVAFF Representative must meet the requirements to compete

Contestants will compete in equal categories, including: Fun Fashion & Evening Wear.
Additionally, the Jr. Teen Division will compete in a 4 minute Personal Interview with the Judges.
The Judges will include some of pageantry’s most successful people.
If you are chosen as the Junior Royalty Court, you will have the thrill of reigning over the 44th Annual West Virginia Three Rivers Festival May 25-27th in Fairmont, WV and win several prizes and awards valued over $1,200 each. During your reign you will make appearances throughout the Mountain State while representing on the festivals float alongside the Teen & Queen.

Senior Queen
If you are chosen as the West Virginia Three Rivers Festival Senior Queen, you will have the thrill of reigning over the Annual West Virginia Three Rivers Festival and win several prizes and awards.
The Queen selection is by the luck of the draw as each contestant chooses a rose wrapped in heavy tissue paper. The lucky lady who chooses the red rose is declared Queen crowned by the Mayor of White Hall. The 2023 Senior Queen will receive her very own crown sponsored by White's Jewelers, basket of gifts and recognized in the newspaper throughout the festival events and during her reign.
